High Street
Eton’s historic High Street runs for approximately one mile, from the beautiful setting of Windsor & Eton bridge, crossing the River Thames, up to the world-famous Eton Chapel and College Buildings.
With a rich mix of architectural styles and ages, Eton High Street is a fascinating place to meander. The town boasts numerous restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, a wide range of charming independent cafes and coffee shops, and a host of characterful pubs and wine bars.
During busy periods, for example Windsor Royal Horseshow week, Royal Ascot and special occasions at Windsor Castle, like the Jubilee celebrations and State Visits we recommend booking restaurants early to avoid disappointment.
