En Plein Air 2024

Windsor and Eton En Plein Air is taking place inside the grounds at Windsor Castle on Saturday 20 July and later in the day moving on to Windsor Royal Station. It’s an art competition and street gallery rolled into one.

Artists have their canvasses stamped on arrival to the Castle and can then choose one of 11 locations within the Castle grounds where they can set up their easel. They have six hours to create their artwork. The pieces are then moved to Windsor Royal Station where they will be exhibited to the general public who are also able to purchase art from this pop-up exhibition.

The Gallery opens at 17.00 and a judging panel will pick out the top three pictures – there are some nice cash prizes to be won.  Prize giving is at 18.00 and the artworks remains on show until 18.30.
